M Helal is a journalist and social-organizer possessing unique talents & visions about life, humanity, social progress & national prosperity.

He is involved in multi-dimensional activities. He is the Chief Editor as well as the Founder & Publisher of the first ever Bangladeshi newspaper on education & youth development, The University Campus, which is being regularly published since 1984.  M Helal is the founder Secretary General and Executive Director of Campus Social Development Centre (CSDC), a non-government, non-political and non-profit organization committed to achieve a knowledge-based, just society and enlightened nation. He is also the Founder Editor & Publisher of a news magazine on coastal area resources & development, The Lakshmipur Barta, which is being published regularly since 1986 with the aim of national development through regional development.

He is actively associated with various social organizations and programs.  He is also a columnist writing regularly on various aspect of individual, social & national development.
